Oral hygiene is very important throughout orthodontic treatment. As an incentive to encourage excellent oral hygiene, we use the Sand Dollars grading system at each of your appointments.
- For an A in brushing, you receive two Sand Dollars.
- For a B in brushing, you receive one Sand Dollar.
- If you wear your Lach Orthodontic “Just Brace It” T-shirt to your appointment, you receive one Sand Dollar.
Once you have earned enough Sand Dollars, you can “go fishing” for some great gifts. Sand Dollars cannot be combined with siblings or friends, and they must be redeemed at the time of appliance removal.
